Integrating new WhatsApp Business API with PipeOne

Integrating WhatsApp with PipeOne allows you to manage your WhatsApp communications efficiently. Follow these steps to set up the integration:

  1. Access PipeOne: Go to the PipeOne website and log in to your account.

  2. Access settings: In the sidebar menu, click on "Settings".

  3. Select Integrations: Within settings, go to the "Channels and Integrations" section.

  4. Select WhatsApp: Click on the option to integrate WhatsApp.

5. Facebook login: Use Facebook login for business to create or update the integration, as WhatsApp Business is required.

6. Connect your account and authorize: Connect your PipeOne account with WhatsApp Business.

7. Select the business portfolio or create a new one

  • Configure WhatsApp profile: Set up your WhatsApp Business Profile. Note that you can edit this information at any time.

  • Fill in the necessary details:

    WhatsApp Business account name (internal)

    WhatsApp Business display name (public)

    Country

    Category (according to your company)

    Time zone

    Description (public)

    Website

    Address

7. Add WhatsApp number: You can receive a free WhatsApp number or add an existing one. Confirm the number via SMS or phone call.

IMPORTANT: If your number from a landline phone you will need to confirm via phone call.

8. Authorize PipeOne

9. Add a payment method: To send messages actively, you may need to add a payment method, which is a requirement from Meta for active messaging capabilities. Otherwise, you can receive messages passively and respond. The payment method is a requirement from Meta, not PipeOne

After this process, it is important to set up two-factor authentication.

After these steps, you will be ready to communicate with people on WhatsApp via PipeOne.
