Adding a payment method to your WhatsApp Business account

If you use the WhatsApp Business Platform, adding a credit card is essential for paying Meta directly for your session fees-these are the costs charged by Meta for each customer conversation on WhatsApp. This payment method is not related to PipeOne or any third-party provider. You will not be charged any additional fees by us; all charges come directly from Meta for your WhatsApp usage.

Step-by-step:

1. Access your Business Manager

2. Go to Settings

  • On the dashboard, find and click the Settings option (usually in the left-hand menu),

3. Select WhatsApp Accounts

  • In the settings menu, look for Accounts and select WhatsApp Accounts.

4. Choose the Correct WhatsApp Account

  • Click on the specific WhatsApp Business account you want to add the payment method to.

5. Open Payment Settings

  • In the account settings, find and click Payment Settings. This will take you to the billing and payments section.

6. Add payment method

  • Click on Add Payment Method.

7. Enter your credit card details

  • Provide your credit card information: name on card, card number, expiry date, and CVV. Make sure your card supports international and online transactions (Visa or Mastercard are recommended).

8. Save and verify

  • Click Save. Some cards may require verification, such as an OTP sent to your phone. Follow any on-screen instructions to complete this step.

9. Add Business Information

  • If prompted, fill in your business details and save.

All done! The credit card is added to your WhatsApp Business Platform account. You can view the added credit card in the Settings tab.
